Fate/Grand Order Adds a New Way for North American Players to Secure Their Accounts, Here's the Update!

VOIDMANGA – Players of Fate/Grand Order in the United States and Canada now have another way to protect and manage their game data. Type-Moon and Aniplex have launched the North American version of the Aniplex Online Account system, allowing players to connect their existing FGO accounts with an Aniplex Online profile.
The new feature is designed to provide an additional account management option for players who have spent considerable time progressing through the mobile RPG. The service is already accessible, with Caster Leonardo da Vinci appearing as the face of the Aniplex Online Account website.
How the New Account Linking System Works
Players can begin the process directly from the My Room section inside Fate/Grand Order. An Account Linking option is available alongside the existing account-related menus. From there, players can check whether their FGO profile has already been connected and view the relevant linking information.
If an account has not yet been connected, players can proceed by entering the email address and password associated with their Aniplex Online Account. Those who do not have an account can create one during the process. Once the login or registration procedure is completed, the FGO profile becomes linked to the newly established Aniplex account.
One notable change concerns the traditional Transfer Number system. After an FGO account is connected to Aniplex Online, the Transfer Number will no longer serve as the method for recovering or transferring that linked account. This gives players a different mechanism for maintaining access to their game data.
At present, the new Aniplex Online linking feature is specifically available to Fate/Grand Order players located in the United States and Canada. The game itself remains playable on Android and iOS devices worldwide.
