The Official FFXIV Online Store Now Sells Modern Aesthetic Hairstyles, Available Separately!

VOIDNITY - Square Enix has announced, via social media, a change to the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store: players can now purchase "Modern Aesthetics" hairstyles—previously tied to specific glamour outfits—individually, rather than having to buy the entire costume set to unlock the hairstyle.
At the time of writing, 14 such hairstyles are available through this method on the online store, each priced at $5 for the hairstyle alone. Below is the full list of Final Fantasy XIV "Modern Aesthetics" hairstyles now sold separately in the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store.

Information reported from siliconera.com, Notably, the hairstyles from the Final Fantasy XIII "Lightning’s Attire" and "Snow’s Attire" sets are bundled together as "Modern Aesthetics – Pulse," priced at $5. Meanwhile, the female and male versions of the "Omega" hairstyle are sold separately.

The cost for each of the character outfits mentioned above, if purchased separately, is $12 per item. If one wishes to acquire both the outfit and the corresponding "Modern Aesthetics" hairstyle, the price is typically $15 for the bundle.
Final Fantasy XIV is available on Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, with the FFXIV Evercold expansion scheduled for release in January 2027.
