UPDATE! Persona 4 Revival Puts Marie in the Spotlight With New English Teaser

VOIDMANGA – ATLUS is giving fans another glimpse of Persona 4 Revival through a new teaser centered on Marie. Rather than focusing on combat or the Investigation Team, the latest short video highlights Marie’s personality and some of her amusing experiences outside the Velvet Room.
Marie originally became part of the Persona 4 universe through Persona 4 Golden, where she was introduced as a resident of the Velvet Room and a character connected to a Social Link. Her return in Persona 4 Revival confirms that elements from the expanded version of the original game will remain part of the remake.
The new footage focuses on Marie trying to understand everyday life. Because of her limited experience with the outside world, ordinary things can become confusing or unexpectedly entertaining for her. The teaser uses situations involving Junes and unfamiliar concepts to showcase this side of her character.

Marie’s presence has become one of the more notable aspects of Persona 4 Revival. Earlier footage had already suggested that ATLUS is expanding certain parts of the remake, including scenes that were not present in the original game. This has led fans to speculate that Marie could receive a more naturally integrated role in the revamped story.
The remake is also introducing a broader visual and gameplay overhaul. ATLUS describes Persona 4 Revival as a modern reimagining of Persona 4 Golden, with upgraded graphics, interface improvements, revised combat features, additional events and newly voiced scenes.
English-speaking players will also hear a new cast in the remake. ATLUS previously announced new English performers for several characters, including Marie, who will be voiced by Ari Thrash. The English cast differs from the returning Japanese voice cast.

Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to arrive on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Steam and Xbox Game Pass. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is planned for May 20, 2027.
With ATLUS continuing to reveal individual characters and new scenes ahead of launch, Marie’s latest teaser gives players another indication that the remake will preserve familiar elements while refreshing the experience for a modern audience.
